Introducing the New Salt Pro V-Box Spreader

The Alamo Group Snow & Ice Team is proud to unveil its first-ever Salt Pro V-Box Spreader, a brand-new product line built at our Ayer’s Cliff production facility and set to launch in early 2026.

Developed throughout 2025, the Salt Pro represents the next step in spreading technology — feature-rich, durable, and competitively priced. Designed for municipal and contractor use, this stainless steel V-Box offers unmatched reliability and ease of maintenance.

Built to Last

The spreader features a 304 stainless steel 12-gauge hopper, 12-gauge side supports, and 10-gauge long rails for superior structural integrity. Its 24-inch wide 667x pintle chain, paired with a 25:1 gearbox, hydraulic motor, and 2-inch driveshaft, delivers a powerful and efficient material feed.

Smart Design Details

Every element of the Salt Pro is engineered for convenience. The tilt dump chute allows quick emptying after runs. Heavy-duty steel top grates with a stainless center beam increase longevity, while bolt-on strap tie-downs make installation secure and simple.

A standout feature is the grease tensioner system, replacing traditional threaded rods with a grease-fed design that evenly tensions the chain. Remote grease lines for both the tensioners and bearing blocks enable full maintenance access without removing the spreader from the dump body.

Precision Control

Operators can fine-tune their material spread pattern thanks to a five-position spinner diverter, ensuring efficient and even salt coverage in any application.
